About Tailor Made
MADE IN AMERICA
It’s a pretty well-known and proven fact that men mature later than women. Most say that a man “blossoms” around 30, and I must admit that fact is the case in my life. When I turned 29 I finally began to see, or pay attention to, my personality and how all my idiosyncrasies played into the choices I made. At 31, I realized that God really did have a purpose for me, yet I feared not being me anymore. Through much prayer, I was assured that I didn’t have to be afraid to be the man He had designed me to be.
I wish I could say that realization turned me into a different guy. It didn’t. But, it did start me on a course of self-awareness and ushered me into a closer relationship with God. So, I began combing my past as I explored the uncharted territories of my life, hence “Tailor Made: God’s Bespoke Tailoring” was developed.
You can call it an online diary. I guess that’s more of a warning than anything. “Keepin’ It Real” is my favorite motto, which says that Tailor Made will be honest and raw, yet tasteful like a fine imported suit. I hope my life experiences – past, present, and future – will spark a new dialogue for us and inspire you to ask God what you were tailor made for (that’s an invitation to comment on posts).
Let’s Dance.
