Pass the Anal Ease, Please

Inconsiderate. Self-centered. Down right selfish.  That’s all I could think as my friend, Jackson*, told me about how this chick asked him to spot her two grand for a trip when she knows that he’s technically classified as “working poor.”  I think that’s a ring or two above welfare worthy.

Here’s the thing that kills me: she’s supposed to be his friend and knows that he has feelings for her.  She has wealthy parents that get her just about everything she wants.  Right now the parents are just strapped financially, is her plea.  Too damn bad.

Not Quite a Golddigger

“Jackson, they don’t know what strapped financially is,” I said after he asked me my opinion.  Usually I’m quick to give it.  Lately I’ve been trying to listen more.  Silence is golden.

He said, “Well, it doesn’t just benefit her.  I’m going on the trip as well. If I don’t pay for her ticket now with the hope of reimbursement then I might end up flying alone.”

“Dude,” I began, “If you’re willing to spend $2000 to have some coochie sitting next to you, then go for it.  Do what you think is best.”

“So what is your problem with it exactly?”

“Jackson, my problem is that you don’t even know for sure if you’re going to get your money back. You don’t even know if her parents have agreed to reimburse you.  No, that’s not my problem.  She’s being inconsiderate, dude.  That’s the bottom line.”

He laughed and gave me a little more information which only strengthened my resolve to tell him, “Don’t do it.”

“You’re my friend, Jackson; and, unless I know or feel that you are wrong I will always be on your side.  You never have to worry about that.  So whatever situation you find yourself in, especially if it’s up against someone else, I’m going to tell them to kick rocks.”

“I appreciate that, man,” he said.

“That’s just how I roll.”

“Bad boys for life,” he added.

Hookers ‘R’ Us

Why do people do that?  Why do people feast on the weak?  Why do people let people do them wrong, taking the Mickey or the muscle relaxer so they won’t feel the pain while being screwed.  Of course, after the effects wear off the pain is evident.  Yet they go along with it anyway.

I hate to see anyone taken advantage of, especially my circle of influence.  But, I guess we all voluntaraily play the fool once in awhile.

Have you ever asked for the Anal Ease (remember this is figurative *laughs*)?

*Jackson, of course, isn’t my friend’s real name.

People feast on the weak because the love of may has waxed cold, then on the other hand, the weak allow themselves to be played. Know this, the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth so start praying before you Google international flights and God will save you a trip!
